Am, Is, Are
In this chapter we learn am, is and are. These small words join naming words to the rest of the sentence: I am, he/she/it is, you/we/they are.
শেখার লক্ষ্য
- Use ‘am’ with I.

মূল ধারণা
am with I
Use ‘am’ only with ‘I’. For example: ‘I am a student.’ ‘I am happy.’
is with one
Use ‘is’ with one person or thing (he, she, it). For example: ‘She is happy.’ ‘The cat is black.’
are with many
Use ‘are’ with you, we and they (more than one). For example: ‘They are playing.’ ‘We are friends.’
